You can use following boolean operators to narrow your results:
+ A leading plus sign indicates that this word must be present in each result. (ie. +AuthorName)
- A leading minus sign indicates that this word must not be present in any of the results. (ie. -AuthorName)
If no opearator (+ or -) is applied, words are optional. If more than one word is used, results containing both words will be ranked higher than those, containing only one word
~ A leading tilde acts as a negation operator, causing the word's contribution to the row's relevance to be negative. This is useful for marking "noise" words. Result containing such word is rated lower than others, but is not excluded altogether, as it would be with the - operator.
* The asterisk serves as the truncation (or wildcard) operator. Unlike the other operators, it should be appended to the word to be affected. Words match if they begin with the word preceding the * operator.
"public sphere" If you put two or more words inside double quote, results will contain exact phrase.
< > Lower or greater sign will affect the relevance of the results when rating the responses.
